WEATHERATOR

QUANTA INFRASTRUCTURE SOLUTIONS GROUP  |  WEATHER NO-WORK DAYS CALCULATOR
Estimates days unsuitable for outdoor work using NOAA / NCEI historical daily weather data.

No-work rule — a day counts if ANY threshold is exceeded

These are generic starting defaults, not a regulatory or national standard — adjust them to match your contract. In a standard RFP/contract package, look for: Division 01 “Progress Schedules” (often includes an anticipated adverse-weather-days table built from NOAA historical normals for the site), the Excusable Delay / Force Majeure clause (Division 00 or general conditions), and trade-specific spec sections (e.g., Division 03 cold/hot-weather concrete limits, crane & aerial-lift wind stand-down limits) for limits specific to the work being performed.
Data source: NOAA National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI) "daily-summaries" (GHCN-Daily). Geocoding via OpenStreetMap Nominatim. Figures are historical estimates, not forecasts. Missing-data days are excluded from percentages.
